Illuminate Adelaide’s epic immersive light show Light Cycles is back as of last night at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, with the season extending until the 8 of August, making up for lost time due to the statewide lockdown that ended this morning.
In line with the new restrictions that were enacted in the early hours of Wednesday morning, a reduced number of tickets will be on offer for each Light Cycles session to assist with social distancing, and patrons are also asked to bring a mask to wear for the duration of the experience.
Light Cycles will see the iconic Adelaide Botanic Garden transformed using a kaleidoscope of colour installations, lights, sounds and video effect for a truly magical look at one of Adelaide’s most beautiful outdoor spaces.
QR check-ins will also be dotted throughout the event and patrons are asked to check-in upon arrival.
To enable social distancing throughout Light Cycles, organisers have asked visitors to arrive at the time of their booking, with the dedicated bar also open for you to sit down and grab a drink or bite to eat, to make the most of your visit to this exciting debut festival.
Also returning is the much-anticipated event Light Creatures at Adelaide Zoo, which will see huge lantern installations representing colourful depictions of the animal kingdom.
Light Creatures is running from Thursday 29 July.
Illuminate Adelaide’s co-founders and creators have been working closely in collaboration with SA Health to enable this fantastic new festival to go ahead for its inaugural year, following months of build up and anticipation across the state.
