Top honours at the Impact Awards Gala Dinner have been taken out by Fivecast, Energy Exemplar and Ulrike Klein.

Up to 300 of South Australia’s business leaders attended the Convention Centre on Wednesday, April 6 to see Fivecast and Energy Exemplar take out top honours and Ulrike Klein AO, co-founder of Jurlique and founder of Ukaria Cultural Centre, inducted into the Hall of Fame. 

Fivecast is a world-leading provider of digital intelligence that enables the world’s national security, law enforcement and defence organisations to explore masses of data, uncovering actionable insights that are critical to protecting global communities. 

Fivecast is currently being used around the world for counter terrorism, persons of interest monitoring, extremist threats, cross-border crime, insider threat detection, gang violence, trafficking, fraud detection, event security and more. 

Energy Exemplar creates software that simulates real-world power, water and gas energy markets to enable customers to forecast their energy future.

Energy Exemplar has over 400 customers in 68 countries, including oil and gas giants like Shell, TOTAL, BP, and Saudi Aramco.

Energy Exemplar serves over 100 electric utilities (including eight of the top ten) across Europe, and in Australia including Energy Australia, AGL and Origin Alinta, with significant global penetration in markets in the US, Latin America and Asia.

In addition to industry, Energy Exemplar is used by national and local governments, energy system operators, regulators, heavy industrial equipment manufacturers and policy makers. 

Ulrike Klein AO, Co-Founder of Jurlique and Founder of Ukaria Cultural Centre was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Ulrike was recognised for her significant contribution to the South Australian economy through the creation of the internationally recognised Jurlique skin care brand, the creation of valuable employment, her position as a role model within the business community and her philanthropic support of a range of cultural organisations.

Ulrike joins previous Hall of Fame recipients Frank Seeley (Founder & Chairman of Seeley International), Ian Wall (Co-founder of Codan), Glenn Cooper (Director of Coopers Brewery) and Paul Crawford (Joint Managing Director of CMV Group).
