For the past three years Dr John Flett has been busy creating a collection of beautiful oil and watercolour paintings that reflect the vast landscapes of Australia. The exhibition has been fittingly titled "In Praise of Australia", with the pictures on display and available for purchase during February. The proceeds made from each painting sold will go directly to the Little Heroes Foundation.
Dr Flett, who has been a long-term supporter of the Foundation, has used an eye-popping mix of colours to immortalise some of the landscapes that have captured his attention.
"We absolutely thrilled to be the beneficiaries of such a beautiful event and thank Dr Flett for all his hard work," said a spokesperson for the Foundation.
The "In Praise of Australia" Exhibition will be on show until February 17, 2012, at the Pepper Street Arts Centre.
