Festival-lovers, prepare yourselves for a real treat. There’s a fun new event on the horizon, and it’s coming straight to your backyard. ‘A Day in the Gully’ is set to hit Civic Park on February 28, 2026. The brand-new festival combines sunshine and good vibes, and a whole lot of fun! Think sensational live music, gourmet food trucks, and stellar wine drops.
For something fun to do on the last day of summer, you can soak up the last of the sunshine with family and friends, and enjoy a day jam-packed with entertainment, all beneath a stunning canopy of gums. Great food, picturesque scenery, ‘A Day in the Gully’ has it all. On the list of food and bevvies is a truckload of gourmet and comfort foods, with some classic festival faves on the menu, and all the best local sips.
As for music, expect some red-hot national headliners, as well as some up-and-coming Aussie artists. Want the full line-up? It’s going to be huge! Get ready for musical sensations Ball Park Music, Chet Faker, Pete Murray, Mallrat, The Living End, Teenage Joans, and The Tullamarines.
SRO Events say they are thrilled to be hosting the festival in February.
“It’s a brand-new festival celebrating Australian music, with big-name headliners right in our own backyard,” says SRO Events spokesperson Sinead Murray.
“We can’t wait to see the community come together for a day of live music, summer vibes, and fun – it’s going to be something really special.”
City of Tea Tree Gully Mayor, Marijka Ryan, says the new festival is all about bringing people together and celebrating local music sensations.
“It will be a great chance to celebrate Australian live music and have some fun,” says Mayor Ryan. “I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at Civic Park having an amazing time.”
