The clock is ticking ever closer to noon and your stomach is grumbling at increasingly smaller intervals — lunch time is coming and you’ve only got a sweet, sweet half hour to spend, so you have to make sure you spend it wisely.
We think you might want to spend it at Indii Flavours in North Adelaide, where a lot of care and thought has gone into bringing Indii Flavours to life at its new O’Connell St location.
It’s a gorgeous set up (featuring a spectacular wine room!) that’ll make you feel miles away from work — at least for the short while you dine with them.
Speaking of dining, Indii Flavours’ newly launched lunch menu features some of the tastiest, most refined Indian food in Adelaide, which we’re sure will have your tastebuds singing with complex flavours.
From 12 to 3PM, lunch hour at Indii Flavours is serving up curries (take your pick from butter chicken, rogan josh, beef korma, or mixed veggies) for $11.90.
You could also take your pick from a chicken tikka roll (chargrilled chicken, salad, home-made dips and chutney in a wrap), seekh kebab roll (lamb mince kebab, salad, home-made dips and chutney in a wrap) or paneer kathi roll (spiced cottage cheese and onion capsicum in a wrap) for $9.90.
Feeling fancy? Let Indii Flavours tempt you to a masala dosa (rice lentil crepe, sambhar, coconut and tomato chutney) or a chilli cheese dosa (rice lentil crepe, shredded cheese, fresh green chilli, and sambhar) for $12.90.
And if you’re feeling extra hungry, how about the South Indian platter for $17.90? It includes a rice crepe, sambhar, chutneys, as well as lemon coconut rice and raita.
If the above is enough to get your mouth watering, you can find Indii Flavours at 114 O’Connell St, open every day from 12 to 10PM (with the lunch specials on from 12 to 3PM).
