Koomo – on the tenth floor of Crowne Plaza Adelaide – will go to the Mediterranean for this one-night-only event. Wine is set to complement each course, with signature Greek spirit ouzo also set to make an appearance. Chef Adam Swanson will use the best seasonal South Australian produce to craft the seven-course meal.

Adam Swanson is an Adelaide born renowned Chef and restaurateur who has been famed as ‘The King of Pasta,’ though his scope of food mastery is extensive. And this food mastery promises to be on show with this gourmet evening.

The seven-course meal will start with a refreshing canapé which features Ouzo, watermelon, feta and mint. Then you will move onto the starters, some of which include taramasalata, pitta and locally sourced Yanni’s olives.

If you weren’t already swayed by the support acts, the headliners are sure to get you excited. Chef Adam Swanson is showcasing authentic Greek mezze with delicious a few twists. Some of these delicious dishes include grilled SA octopus with beetroot, skordalia, dill and lemon, as well as dolmadhes made up with rice, pork, leek, dill, cream and feta.

And no Greek mezze menu is complete without a 6hr slow braised lamb shoulder as well as the iconic staple that are loukoumades.
