Indulge In A Spring Affair This October Long Weekend

Coriole, Paxton, Maxwell. If you know McLaren Vale, you know when these guys turn out an event, it’s unmissable.

McLaren Vale’s Spring Affair Festival returns for its third year this October Long Weekend (October 2 and 3, 2016) with Coriole Vineyards, Maxwell Wines and Paxton Wines all on show with some pretty incredible partnerships.

Ensuring it’s not just all about the wine (but it mostly is) Australia’s favourite celebrity cook Poh Ling Yeow will be at Coriole working alongside their in-house chef over the weekend while Maxwells will be working with Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar to create brilliant menus of freshly prepared regional produce. Of course, there will be live music as well, because what is leisure, food and wine without performance?

On Sunday 2nd October, punters have the choice of joining an organised tour through all three wineries, visiting the three wineries in their own vehicle, or spending all day at one venue. Contact one of the following venues to find out about joining a Spring Affair tour so you don’t have to worry about who drives: Coopers Alehouse Gepps Cross, Haçienda, Ramsgate Hotel, Seven Stars Hotel, The Havelock Hotel, The Maid Hotel, The Original Coopers Alehouse, The Prince Albert Hotel and The Stag Adelaide.

Go to http://www.springaffair.com.au/sunday.html for all the details on what’s happening at each winery.

On Monday 3rd October, the fun continues with free entry at all three wineries and it’s also Family Fun Day! If you pre-book a ticket you’ll receive a glass and first pour free, which sounds worth the while. Visit http://www.springaffair.com.au/monday.html for all the details on what’s on at each winery.

“Spring in McLaren Vale is such a wonderful time of year – and the October long weekend is the perfect time to celebrate the new season,” explains Coriole’s Velvet Oakes.

“Welcoming friends to our winery to enjoy our wine and local South Australian food is what we love to do.”
