Internet Loses Its Mind As Adelaide’s Diary of Jake Vlogger Joins Top 10 Australian Influencers List

Tonight, in recognition of his success in the Aussie social media scene, Jake was awarded Australia’s #8 Top Influencer, at Australia’s Top 50 Influencer Awards in Sydney.

If you’ve ever hung out with Jake Bley, the devilishly good looking, YouTube sensation who hails from Adelaide (Strathalbyn to be exact), you’ll know that the Internet LOVES him. All it takes is for him to post one smile on Instagram and the declarations of love, torrents of likes, and comments pour in.

But he’s not just a pretty face. As the creator of The Diary of Jake YouTube channel, with its 76,000 subscribers and 2.5 million views, Jake has used his influence for good. Jake uses his social channels to share the highs and lows of his life, and challenges as an LGBT YouTuber and blogger, with thousands of strangers, peers, friends and family. By opening himself up online, he’s inspired and helped many other young, LGBT viewers, while also giving us some cracking style tips, and travel envy along the way.

Over the past couple of years, Jake’s following as escalated, and Jake’s role as an influencer has continued to grow. Most recently, Jake was featured in a Fitness First Australia magazine spread, and his travels to South Africa and the US inspired many of us to pack bags and jump on the next plane!
