Introducing Laneway Season 2

laneway2 featureLaneway Season 2 kicked off last night with an exclusive media launch, and today, the multi- level space opens its doors to the public.

Adelaide’s freshest pop-up bar gave guests the first look at the rejuvenated Hindley Street bar, as well as a preview of their new tea-based cocktails, healthy alcoholic smoothies, and moreish bar bites using local produce from House of Organics.

Laneway Bar Manager and Head of Creative – Jarrad Boman is the mind behind Season 2’s new look and is thrilled to launch Laneway Season 2.

“We want Laneway Season 2 to feel like it’s a house party every weekend. To see it become a vibrant venue where you always know the faces would be an amazing achievement,” says Jarrad Boman.

Creating a culture as opposed to just running a venue, the new look Laneway caters to the after work crowd, with a focus on fresh, healthy options and left-of-centre ideas.

Running October to May, the quirky bar’s nine month season allows the team to refresh between takes. With a new concept launching every time, Laneway wants to consistently engage the Adelaide community by refreshing the look, feel, and menu of the bar to stimulate the senses.

Cara Castellan – Jarrad’s Co-Manager, Designer, and ‘partner in crime’ says the innovative project brings something different to city nightlife in Adelaide.

“There isn’t enough diversity in the Adelaide bar scene so we’re here to mix things up! With our tea-infused cocktails and sensory shots, Adelaide bar goers are about to be given a whole new level of hospitality,” says Cara Castellan.

With an industrial meets environmental vibe, SA’s first shipping container bar features metalwork and street art, contrasted with lush greenery and an open deck area, and offers a bike-powered blender where punters can create their own cocktails. The space is also available to host a range of events.

Stay tuned for upcoming theme nights, monthly foodie masterclasses, and exclusive loyalty nights every Wednesday for CBD businesses.
