Adelaide has a hot new destination – Onyx Dessert Lounge.
Located at the top end of O'Connell Street in North Adelaide (near the cinema), Onyx Dessert Lounge is a great place to relax and unwind in the evening while grazing on gourmet delights & enjoying five star service.  It’s a place to embark on a food journey – from savory to sweet menu items, accompanied by perfectly matched cocktails or wines.

Both the savory and dessert menu are split into five different taste experiences; bitter, salty, sour, umami and sweet. Presenting plenty of options under each category, it is evident that the menu has been carefully thought out by Onyx’s Head Chef, Daniel Serafin (formerly of Chesser Cellars and Greg Doyle’s Three Hat restaurant – The Pier,  Rose Bay).
As one would expect with the words like “dessert lounge” in the venue title – the dessert menu shines, co-written by celebrity chef Pierrick Boyer and Daniel Serafin. Onyx Dessert Lounge marks Pierrick Boyer’s first footprint in South Australia. Unsurprisingly, SA foodies are a buzz over his mouth watering desserts at long last being available in their own back yard.
Standing apart from its dessert bar competitors – is of course the fact that Onyx Dessert Lounge offers alcoholic beverages and the cocktail menu is superb! Designed to perfectly compliment the menu options – just ask and you will receive, as the saying goes! Co written by Stacy Field (1806 venue in Melbourne) and Onyx’s Bar manager Monica Place (Previously from Cushdy Cocktail Lounge), who is famous in Adelaide for her drinks and won Rookie of the Year at the Australian Bar Awards, the cocktails must be tried to truly indulge in the Onyx experience!
