Imagine heading to the loo and running into this little bunny! That’s exactly what happened on Wednesday when the Australian Federal Police responded to a suspicious situation in the Adelaide Airport toilets about an abandoned bag pink Lorna Jane bag… only to find an little rabbit in it!

We can’t imagine parting with this sweet little bunny, just look at these pictures.

The RSPCA are currently taking care of the rabbit who apparently has fantastic manners, is harness trained and super sociable for only being a 1 year old.

It’s definitely an unusual situation which initially caused some panic at the airport with the AFP calling in the bomb squad to check out the situation. They were extremely surprised to meet a harmless little dwarf rabbit.

The rabbit was unharmed and in good spirits but RSPCA rescuer Nalika Van Loenen made sure to point out that rabbits “do get scared and stressed easily. He would have been very frightened.”

We’re a second away from calling in with adoption papers so if this is your rabbit or you know anything about the situation call in the RSPCA quick on their 24-hour cruelty report hotline: 1300 4 777 22.
