It Isn’t All About The Lycra; The Ultimate Tour Down Under Experience Is Coming

Delicious food, tasty wine, fashion, and a little bit of lycra just for good measure; find out why you won’t want to miss this TDU experience…

The start of the year is always a big one for Adelaide in terms of amazing world-class events… And it all kicks off with the Santos Tour Down Under. It won’t be all about the lycra when Ladies Day on Tour returns this year.

After being introduced in 2015 and causing a lot of buzz, the successful event will appear on the TDU program again this year. However, because of its success, the special event will run for not just one, but two fun-filled days full of bubbles, food, fashion and a little bit of lycra for good measure!

Get your VIP badge ready because you will get an exclusive Tour experience like no other. Be part of all the cycling action with a walk-through of the start line, where you will then view the start of the race from a reserved area. Bubbles are a must at this point. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch, with a few fashion secrets thrown in and there you have it, the ultimate TDU experience.

Hitaf Rasheed, General Manager, Events South Australia said after success in 2015, Ladies Day on Tour is back in 2016 for not one but two days of the event.

“In 2015 we introduced Ladies Day on Tour, combining fashion, food, cocktails and fun. It is a great way for girlfriends to enjoy a day out together and we had fabulous feedback,” said Hitaf Rasheed.

“Tickets are selling fast, all you need to do is dress to impress and be ready to go from the Hilton Adelaide with everything taken care of for a full day’s entertainment.

“The combination of fashion, fabulous food and wine, great hosts and access to the race, all makes for a brilliant day out.”

Dates: Wednesday 20 January 2016 – Stage 2 (Unley to Stirling) AND Saturday 23 January 2016 – BikeExchange Stage 5 (McLaren Vale)

Tickets are $150 per person, per day and include transport, morning refreshments, lunch, drinks and access to special viewing areas.
