After a successful launch into Adelaide this month, the unique resin designs of it was me. will be shown at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, unveiling the new Spectrum Spring Summer collection and the much anticipated men’s Mangle range.

Following in the footsteps of Samantha Wills who was discovered there, it was me. will be showing all this week in the Exhibition Space, adjacent to Fashion Week’s VIP bar, making it a convenient stop for celebrity stylists and buyers.

Celebrity stylist Natalie Mark already works closely with it was me. and has ordered the new Mangle range for the male cast members of Glee to wear at upcoming appearances. Jessica Szohr from Gossip Girl and Nina Dobrev from the Vampire Diaries are also fans of the label, with advance orders already placed for the sunny pieces of the Spectrum collection.

it was me’s unique and organic appearance is what sets it apart in an industry of mass production – each piece is made by hand and sanded by the designers to create a smooth an lustrous finish. But what really differentiates it was me collections from other resin jewellery ranges is the detail; from tiny pieces of origami paper suspended in clear resin to vintage fabrics laid imperfectly in the resin creating movement and interest.

All the pieces are handmade in their Sydney studio by designers Pip Houghton and Bec Reardon and the current Autumn Winter collection is available at Loca Bella, CleverDicks, Etienne and Alabaster Store in the Barossa Valley.
