Summer is in full swing here in SA, and to celebrate, the ever iconic Jacob’s Creek is transforming its cellar door with a slice of Australian Open excitement. In a new AO partnership, the team is bringing tennis culture and world-class wine together in unmistakable style, right in the heart of the Barossa. And with the Adelaide International about to kick off, this is a great way to get involved in all of the action.

The AO x Jacob’s Creek Arena activation has turned the cellar door into a playful, summer-ready destination that combines the excitement of Australia’s favourite tennis event with the relaxed charm the region is known for.

The pop-up is channelling the atmosphere of Melbourne Park, with Australian Open branding and bespoke design elements incorporated throughout the space. Jacob’s Creek is the official wine partner of the Australian Open 2026, so bringing a piece of the action to their home base is only fitting.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be met with bold pops of colour, clean lines and tennis-inspired styling that forms the ultimate backdrop for a long afternoon of fun. While the look is a nod to the global sporting event, the experience remains true to Jacob’s Creek, with its welcoming vibes making it accessible and easy to enjoy.

What can you expect? Well, there will be heaps of fun elements like Connect 4, a chance to hit a ball or two, and even getting a birds-eye-view in an umpire seat. Between cellar door drinks, guests can explore the pop-up and head out to lounge on their beautiful outdoor lawn spaces.

Wine, of course, remains central to the experience, with premium Jacob’s Creek wines at the forefront of the event. While drinks have to be enjoyed outside of the pop-up, guests are invited to kick back with a glass of wine in hand and a good group of friends to share the thrill of the Australian Open. The activation hopes to capture the energy of the tournament in a much more relaxed style, striking a balance between excitement and the Barossa’s signature sense of calm.

To make it even better, there’s no booking or entry fee required to explore the fun. But to take your experience to the next level, the crew recommends booking a tasting in the cellar door or a lunch dining experience at Harvest Kitchen. While you’re there, the team also recommends trying the limited edition ‘The Le Petit Smash’ featuring their Jacob’s Creek Le Petit Rosé. It is a delicious summer drink with Rosé, plus grapefruit, elderflower, raspberries and basil, a courtside cocktail that is perfect to take in their stunning views.

The AO x Jacob’s Creek Arena is the perfect summertime event. With sport, wine, and the outdoors coming together in a way that feels natural and celebratory, this is the ultimate way to enjoy the Australian Open without leaving the state. Located against the iconic vineyards of the Barossa Valley, this is a reminder that summer is best enjoyed outdoors, with a glass of wine in hand and something exciting to celebrate.
