Jam out at SconeFest in Mount Gambier this weekend

Now in its fourth season, SconeFest is going regional to Mount Gambier in the Limestone Coast for a celebration of all things scones, jam and music.

Lockdown is over and it is time to celebrate with delicious scones and jam at SconeFest in Mount Gambier this weekend.

SconeFest, created and produced by Emma Knights, is going regional this year, heading to the popular Limestone Coast destination and kicking off this Sunday 1 August at 2pm at the Bellum Hotel.

Enjoy local, live original music from the likes of Hannah Yates and Tashi Freer, while scoffing as many South Australia Country Women’s Association (SA CWA) scones as you can, all topped with delicious Beerenberg jams and a dollop of cream.

As SA settles in for another weekend of wild and wet weather, SconeFest is a perfect way for the whole family to spend a wintery Sunday afternoon.

Tickets will grant you access to the anticipated annual concert, priced at $5 for children and $10 for adults. Once inside you can purchase as many scones as you like from the CWA, including gluten and lactose-free if you let them know in advance. Enjoy your sweet treats with a cup of tea or perhaps something a little stronger from the Bellum bar.

Now in its fourth season, SconeFest has sold out the previous three years, so it’s best to get your tickets quick before they’re all snapped up.

SconeFest is created and produced by Emma Knights and presented in partnership with Umbrella Festival, and you can get your tickets here.

Keep your eyes out for a re-scheduled Adelaide event soon.

SconeFest! will be located at Bellum Hotel, Riddoch Highway, Mount Schank, SA 5291
