Japanese eatery, Yuki in Burnside, opens new location in Stirling with a big brunch focus

MiYuki is the third instalment of the Yuki name, this time offering a unique take on contemporary brunch as well as dinner.

It’s one of the state’s most popular Japanese eateries and now Yuki in Burnside is opening yet another sister restaurant adding to its growing repertoire.

Known for its traditional Japanese cuisine, the newest venture, MiYuki will bring an additional element to the brand with the new Stirling venue expanding into the brunch scene.

But forget your smashed avo or bircher muesli, a brunch date to MiYuki is anything but boring with the eatery putting its traditional Japanese spin on all the brekky classics.

Take the Bulgogi Benny for example. It’s the hollandaise-smothered dish you know and love – but better – with the addition of marinated Bulgogi beef and a side of kimchi chutney.

If you’re impartial to an omelette, then the Tornado Omurice might be the dish for you. A fried rice mixture of bacon and vegetables all wrapped up in a fluffy egg omelette then drizzled with a mouth-watering Japanese demi-glaze.

Breakfast pho, chicken waffles and honey bread also grace the menu, with each one sounding as delicious as the next, leaving the question to become not if but when you will make the trip to the new Hills eatery.

But, it’s not just breakfast being served at MiYuki with a vast offering of contemporary dinner options also available, bringing the feel of its sisters Yuki in Burnside and Yuki in the Hills.

The Yuki name is synonymous with Japanese fine dining and MiYuki will be an extension of this but with a more casual feel. The sleek, ambient building is a continuation of the brand’s traditional Japanese vibe transporting diners to the warmth of a Tokyo eatery as soon as they step foot in the door.

Situated on the main road through Stirling, the new eatery is in the perfect spot for locals or visitors looking to spend a day out in the Hills.

MiYuki is located at 27 Mount Barker Road, Stirling.
