This year, it proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, showing that it is really more of an institution in Adelaide. But Jarmer’s is more than just a popular dining destination with six different function spaces for events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger corporate meetings.
Housed in a beautifully restored heritage building on Park Terrace, so many people have memories of celebrating at Jarmer’s kitchen. If you’ve been to an event there, you already know about the great function food, from pizzas to seafood and antipasto, the fantastic spaces to choose from, and the outstanding service. With event offerings that include themed menus, elegant place cards, table runners, and vibrant collections of dried and artificial flowers, Jarmer’s takes things into their hands, allowing you to relax and enjoy your event.
If you haven’t yet experienced an event at Jarmer’s, we’re excited to give you an inside look at each of their six function spaces, so you can choose the right one for you. One standout option is the brand-new Hamptons Room, which has brought a slice of the Hamptons right here to SA.
The Hamptons Room
When we think of the Hamptons, images of stunning, long stretched beaches, grand homes, and a glamorous lifestyle come to mind. Now, Jarmer’s Kitchen has brought that glamorous Hamptons vibe right here to SA with ‘The Hamptons Room’. This stunning new addition to their function spaces is perfectly intimate and can host up to 16 guests. It’s a great spot for dinner parties, brunches, or birthday gatherings.
JARMER’S KITCHEN
Located in the front heritage building, the main dining hall is filled with natural light and has a charming French bistro-style interior. It can be arranged to create a semi-private area for up to 40 guests, with a full capacity of 70 seated and 120 for cocktail events.
The Jarmer Room
This spacious function area has beautiful design elements, including white tones and greenery. It can accommodate up to 240 guests for cocktail events or 140 seated, making it suitable for both large and smaller gatherings.
The Private Room
The Private Room offers an intimate setting, that has both a modern and old-world charm feel. With its open marble fireplace and high ceilings, it creates a warm atmosphere. This space can host up to 40 seated guests and includes audio/visual facilities so it works for corporate functions. Guests can also enjoy stunning views from the private balcony overlooking the Park Terrace parklands.
The Peter Jarmer Room
For smaller gatherings, the Peter Jarmer Room accommodates up to 16 guests. This cozy space provides the feel of a home-style dining area while delivering the advantages of restaurant service.
The Little Private Room
Adjacent to the upstairs Private Room, the Little Private Room is perfect for intimate gatherings, seating up to 10 guests.
