Australian superstar Jimmy Barnes has announced with ‘Soul Deep 30’ Australian tour this June through July with special guests David Campbell and Mahalia Barnes + The Soul Mates
Jimmy Barnes will bring his 12 piece band across Australia to perform his forthcoming album ‘Soul Deep 30’- a commemorative reissue of his 1991 album by the same name.
The album is a follow up release to his Flesh and Blood album from 2021 and commemorates the 30th anniversary of Barne’s highest selling solo album Soul Deep.
The remastered issue of the album contains two new covers- Soothe Me and Do You Love Me from soul and R&B legends Same & Dave and The Contours.
The original R&B album was certified 10 times platinum in Australia and won Barnes the ARIA’s award for Best Male Artist in 1992.
Rolling Stone have also named Soul Deep as one of top 50 Australian albums of all time, with them calling it a “revelatory addition to one of the country’s most vital discographies”.
Soul Deep’s first tour was regarded as one of Australia’s most legendary live events, with Australian rock fans flocking to see Barnes’ talent in person.
Special guest (Adelaide only) and son David Campbell will be joining Barnes along with daughter Mahalia Barnes (+ The Soul Mates) to bring the very best of Australian rock.
Jimmy Barnes will be bringing his Soul Deep 30 tour to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Thursday 16 Jun. Tickets range from $70-200 with tickets on sale today!
