South Australian iconic kiosk Joe’s Henley Beach is launching a new era for the famed venue with the launch a new dinner series.
It boasts two new menus and weekend dining options for sunset nights on the legendary foreshore.
The revamped venue which has been a fixture on the Henley Beach esplanade for over 25 years, is launching dinners on weekends to make the most out of daylight savings and to give customers something new.
Joe’s owner Hugo Pedler, who came on board and revamped the kiosk in 2020, said that the extra daylight was a great opportunity to showcase the different sides to what people know and love about Joe’s as the sun sets over the spectacular coastline.
“The launch of dinners at Joe’s allows us to offer two very authentic and memorable experiences we feel our customers will love,” Hugo says.
“This season our restaurant is offering an indoor, seated feed-me menu featuring the very best of South Australian seafood including Coffin Bay Oysters, Port Lincoln Cockle pasta and SA grilled Snapper Fillet.
“For those who prefer a more casual affair of nostalgic beach food favourites, we have launched a new Joe’s Kiosk menu featuring our signature fish & chips and other staples.”
Hugo says the warmer months present a real opportunity for Joe’s to welcome people from far and wide with versatile offerings that cater for everyone in one of South Australia’s most spectacular settings.
“We are so proud of what Joe’s stands for. We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received over what has been a challenging time for hospitality,” he says.
“We regard our customers as ‘friends and family’ and we can’t wait to create special experiences over the coming months as we head into summer.”
The new menus are the vision of Executive chef Krish Dutt, his partners and head chef Tara Ravarua who both spent time in Jordan cooking for the Royal family.
“Joe’s is a beach institution and gives our kitchen team an opportunity to really delve deep into the amazing fresh seafood South Australia has on offer,” Krish says.
“The balance of restaurant and kiosk menus allows us to serve everyone at all times and that’s the most special part of Joe’s – being the heart of the community.”
There is indoor dining only for Joe’s dinners with bookings essential for the feed-me restaurant menu.
Joe’s Henley Beach is open 7 days week 7:30am – 3:00pm.
Joe’s dinners will be running from October 8 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 5:45pm.
For outdoor dining (no bookings required) and take away, Joe’s Kiosk will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from October 8 serving their kiosk menu only.
