One of the most anticipated weekends on South Australia’s festival calendar is almost here, with LIV Golf returning to Adelaide from this Thursday. As the city prepares for a lineup of world-class golf, live music and festival atmosphere, Johnnie Walker Black Ruby will make its debut at the event as the Official Whisky of LIV Golf Adelaide.
Johnnie Walker Black Ruby will be available across LIV Golf Adelaide, bringing its berry notes and smooth finish to fans both on and off the green. Central to the experience is the Black Ruby Birdie, the tournament’s official cocktail, created exclusively for the Adelaide stop. Refreshing, playful and balanced, the signature serve combines Johnnie Walker Black Ruby with pink lemonade, premium lemonade and a dash of lemon bitters, finished with a lime leaf.
Across the four days, the Fan Village will be home to the Johnnie Walker Clubhouse, an elevated social spot slinging ice-cold drinks in relaxed cabanas, with a VIP area perfect for enjoying the action between rounds. Adding to the fun, guests can snap a keepsake at the interactive golf ball photo wall or test their luck at the Black Ruby Claw machine, where limited-edition Johnnie Walker golf merchandise is up for grabs.
More than just golf, this year’s LIV Golf Adelaide is shaping up to be a not-to-be-missed festival, with international superstars Peking Duk, Royel Otis, John Summit and Fisher all taking to the stage. And with this, Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is positioned at the centre of the action all weekend long.

The partnership continues Johnnie Walker Black Ruby’s growing presence across Australia’s cultural landscape, following appearances at SXSW Sydney 2025 and the ARIA after-party.

Available at select bottle shops around the state, it’s best poured over ice or mixed into its signature serve. Johnnie Walker’s Black Ruby Birdie – Signature Serve
Ingredients:
- 30ml Johnnie Walker Black Ruby
- 30ml Pink Lemonade
- 100ml of Premium Lemonade
- 3 Dashes of Lemon Bitters
- Lime Leaf to garnish
Method: Combine all ingredients except lemonade in a glass. Add ice, top with lemonade, gently stir
with a bar spoon, garnish and serve.
