We call it ‘Mad-March’ but really it’s mad February/March isn’t it? Yes. But, we’re here to keep you informed of all the happenings and what to do in Adelaide, and for sure, the Hot Lap Fun Run won’t be one to miss!

Join in with the whole community as they take to the bitumen of the Adelaide 500 race circuit on Sunday 25 February.

Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese, will be donning his joggers for this one, as will dozens of doggos and thier owners as the Royal Society for the Blind join in.

“Anyone can take part in the Hot Lap Fun Run, whether you walk or run it. It’s a great opportunity to get
on to the famous Adelaide 500 race track and check out the circuit before the real speed demons hit
the track next week,” said Mr Haese.

“The Royal Society for the Blind will also be joining in for a three kilometre walk. You can grab
breakfast for yourself and a goodie for your furry friend from one of the doggie stalls and join in the
walk around the track.”

LapDogs is a family and pooch friendly event, commencing with a casual walk around the track from 8:00 am, followed by breakfast and a range of activities that include ‘best dressed pooch’ and ‘best owner/dog look-a-like’ competitions.

All proceeds from the LapDogs event will support the RSB Guide and Assistance Dog program, and with each registration online you’ll receive a paw print bandana for either you or your dog to wear! (See above pug-goals).

The LapDogs/Hot Lap Fun Run will be held at the Adelaide 500 track at Victoria Park on 25 February with everyone welcome!
