The Adelaide-based music group ‘FETHRZ’ will be holding a rave in the CBD of Rundle Mall this Sunday afternoon to shoot the music video for their new track that is based on Adelaidians.
The ‘Malls Balls’ will be home to this epic dance party where the music will be cranking with some 90’s party beats for you and your mates to have a boogie to in your biggest puffer jackets.
The new track is based on Adelaidians and their “reputation for not being able to dress for the weather” a FETHRZ spokesperson explained.
FETHRZ encourages all Adelaians who “own a puffer jacket and want to be a part of the next viral video” to come down to Rundle Mall at 5:30 pm on Sunday and be the star of the music video.
“We think it’s safe to say that Adelaians have a reputation for their outfit choices, dressed in jumpers and jackets in the summer but shorts and dresses in the winter, it’s quite hilarious,”.
“We’re hoping this new track will go viral and become Adelaide’s funniest new anthem, it’s a tongue-in-cheek kind of song that we think everyone will love,”.
Although they’re releasing their first song, this group is not new to the music industry, a spokesperson explained the simple beginnings of their musical career.
“After being invited to write and play some music at a comedy Fringe show three years ago, the whole process was so much fun and I knew I had to explore this avenue of music,”.
“Creating these wacky tunes was so much fun, so not long after the Fringe show we began writing Summer Puffer and we’ve been working hard to bring it to life ever since,”.
After the rave at Rundle Mall, the group will be going around to all of the popular landmarks of Adelaide to continue recording the funny music video.
The group encourages everyone to get out this Sunday and join in on the fun, whether it be at Rundle Mall at 5:30 pm or at Elder Park at 6:30 pm, there is plenty of good times to be had.
The results of FETHRZ hard work will be realised this winter and Adelaidans who join the party can look forward to being a part of the group’s history as well as being in a truly hilarious and unique South Australian anthem.
