The Hot 100 Wines tasting is returning for another year as a call card to everyone in SA to showcase our range of excellent local wines. This year the Booze Brothers are jumping on as a stockist and in conjunction with Hot 100 they’re promising a range of traditional and unique additions and it all starts at the first tasting in the Mile End Hotel this Saturday!

Esteemed judging panel will once again be headed by wine distributor, Mark Reginato, and a team of connoisseurs who will be judging based on categories of their style and drinkability. You’re also invited to the Mile End to witness this first event as they showcase the winning wines which feature drops from Taylors, Yelland & Papps, Hollick Coonawarra, Murdoch Hill and many more!

The featured categories that’ll for this top 10 are:
Fruit Forward Reds
Structural and Savoury Reds
Reds with Power and Presence

Join this event as all the positives of wine are celebrated and the negatives are forgotten, the hundred most drinkable are recognised in the Hot 100 Wines magazine, and the top 10 become the hot wines of the season, featuring throughout the year in wine tasting events, in restaurants and pubs and in Booze Brothers bottle shops.

Nibbles on the day are courtesy of Mile End head chef David who will be serving bites like quesadilla with black bean & jalapeno, cheese melt, avocado crema or lamb with chimichurri, SA pork belly and Hand made Newton Haloumi with pesto.

If the 27th is already on your mind then we’re guessing that you’re heading to the footy which is on the night! Well, happy days, the Mile End is a quick 5 minute walk from the tram spot so if you’re heading to the game then head to the tasting first before you enjoy a night at the footy!

The Mile End Hotel offers accommodation so you can make it an overnight stay with them. However, there are limited tickets, so you have to book fast and online HERE.
