The much anticipated $23 million St Clair Village and Coles supermarket opened today (May 1) with the celebrations set to continue over the weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday (May 4 & 5), there will be a carnival atmosphere with family entertainment including a meet and greet with Bugs Bunny, jugglers and balloon twisters, face painters, a kid’s craft activity workshop, showbags and performances by local musicians.
The family entertainment runs from 11am-2pm on Saturday and 11am – 3pm on Sunday. Mix 102.3 will be broadcasting live on Sunday to entertain and shoppers will have the chance to win a family getaway to the Gold Coast including a visit to SeaWorld and Warner Bros Movie World.
St Clair Village is home to a new market-style Coles store, specialty shops and more than 300 car parks.
Speciality shops include Flight Centre, Newspower Newsagency, Bakers Delight, Wok in a Box, Sushi Train, Dhana Latchmi Indian restaurant, Michel’s Patisserie and an Amcal Chemist.
Today also marks the opening of the new main entrance into the St Clair Development from Cheltenham Parade. This is an exciting milestone for St Clair with the main entrance now open, allowing residents to drive from one end of the Development to the other, for the first time.
