After their highly anticipated opening, The Noble Gentleman has been satisfying wine lovers hearts (and palates) all over Adelaide.
And they promised to celebrate a new wine each month, giving you a reason to swing by at least once a month—a promise they’re staying true to by hosting their first wine of the month pairing evening on Wednesday 26 September!
This month, the wines in the limelight are from Next Crop Wines, including a Rosato and Montepulciano made from local grape varieties. Each one has been carefully selected to complement each dish on the menu for the evening.
You can expect a strong start with South Australia wild caught prawns pan fried in a creamy garlic and chilli sauce, served on a bed of steamed rice. And if that doesn’t get you salivating, how does a main of char-grilled lamb cutlets on fresh house-made tzatziki accompanied by paprika dusted potatoes and a rocket, pear, and walnut salad sound? Finish things off with a gorgeous vanilla bean panna cotta topped with raspberry coulis and fresh berries.
Tickets go for $80 per person and include a drink on arrival as well as the delicious dishes above all paired with a perfectly matched wine. Head wine makers from Next Crop Wines, AJ and Caroline, will also be present to talk through their range of wines throughout the evening.
