Join Tomich Wines This Weekend For A Bushfire Recovery Working Bee

Tomich is hosting four different sessions during which people can assist in cleaning up the widespread damage of the vineyard in any way possible.

Australia may be burning, but our country sure is rallying.

With bushfire relief appeals, donations, and helping hands aplenty, it has been encouraging to see the true-blue Australian spirit out in full force.

Tomich Wines, one of the vineyards severely affected by the Adelaide Hills bushfires, is hosting a Bushfire Recovery Working Bee this weekend on Saturday January 11 and Sunday January 12.

Over the two days, Tomich Wines will open their doors to the public, as the volunteers assist in tidying the vineyard, organising fencing for livestock, and various other tasks.

Tomich is hosting four different sessions during which people can assist in cleaning up the widespread damage of the vineyard in any way possible. The various sessions are listed below:

  • Saturday 11th – 9am-12pm
  • Saturday 11th – 1pm-4pm
  • Sunday 12th – 9am-12pm
  • Sunday 12th – 1pm-4pm

This event comes in the wake of the support that the local winery has received after the effects of the devastating bushfires that wiped out half of their crop.

As posted on their Facebook page:

“We have been inundated with offers for help and are so grateful for our supportive community and humbled by your offer”.
