Following the hugely successful ‘Rock Show’ tours (2012 ARIA Nominee ‘Best Soundtrack’, and 2012 Mo Awards ‘Best Rock Act’) Australian rock icon Jon English is bringing his latest show, Rock Revolution, to Adelaide.
Featuring classic hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s, and a 9 piece cast of young multi-talented musicians and singers, Jon English’s excitement is palpable.
“There are a few new faces in this show,” says English. “After three years, some of the original cast decided it was time to move on to other things, which is of course great for them, but it’s also great to be able to give other young artists the chance to shine and experience performing in a live touring show. We’ve got some really fantastic new talent to show off and a whole new swag of songs!”
The line-up of songs from Rock Revolution includes more hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Meatloaf, Janis Joplin, plus Billy Joel, The Easybeats, Jackson 5, Joni Mitchell, Alice Cooper, T-Rex, Black Sabbath, Tina Turner, Suzi Quatro, and The Doors.
