Former X Factor finalists, JTR this week released their debut single ‘Ride’ which has garnered a phenomenal response, peaking at 42 on the Australian ITunes chart without any radio airplay and number 2 in Sweden in the first 24 hours of release.
JTR are Swedish brothers John, Tom and Robin. The boys, who are now based in Brisbane have taken the past few months to work on their debut album, Touchdown with ‘Ride’ being the first offering that they will release independently.
JTR are no strangers to the music industry, their mother is a successful songwriter and their stepfather an industry executive that discovered and developed The Veronicas who also play a cameo role in the ‘Ride’ video clip which was also released this week.
JTR will embark on a national promotional tour, kicking off on the 15th of March with their album ‘Touchdown’ slated for release on 7th of March, 2014.
