The Seacliff Beach Hotel is back with their monthly food challenge and even if the last few, like the mega burger and triple stacker parmi, were a piece of cake, you’ll still need to brace yourself for May’s challenge.
For the month of May, guests at the Seacliff hot spot will be challenged to try and finish a massive three litre laksa with 300g chicken tenderloins, 150g prawns, noodles, Asian mixed vegetables, coriander, spring onion and fresh chilli.
Seacliff Beach Hotel’s venue manager Simon Williams said the hotel has been running the food challenges since their reopening after the 2020 COVID shutdown as a way to entice people back out of their homes into the local business.
The dangerously large laksa, dubbed ‘Joeys Giant Laksa’, is on offer for the whole month of May for $35, and foodies game enough to take on the challenge can expect bragging rights and a week’s worth of food in their stomachs.
All that’s left to say is good luck…you’ll need it!
Bookings are encouraged to come face-to-face with the mighty laksa, and you can do that here.
