Unley’s Just Down the Road serves up sweet treats and quick eats that look as amazing as the venue.

A glass-encased, tile-and-wood oasis, Just Down the Road has been fueling Greenhill Road for three years. The gorgeous eatery has Five Senses coffee, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and what co-owner Jacob Baker describes as “the best donuts in town.”

Owned by the same group behind Whistle and Flute, Just Down the Road began as an offshoot just down the road from the popular café, but it has since become its own entity.

“We still have a takeaway focus, but we’ve evolved to become a bit more of a dine-in café, really,” Baker says.

“With Whistle and Flute [nearby] and Tree Climb across the road, we’ve created a bit of a precinct for this section of Greenhill Road.”

However, Baker says the café, which he describes as a “new age deli and sandwich shop,” still has the same flavour profile as neighbour Whistle and Flute.

The Unley gem is the first tenant of its Greenhill Road address, and it has since transformed what was a blank canvas into a a timber and Everest-green sunroom. The sleek, light-filled space has wooden window panes, plants, and camel-coloured leather seating to beautify your dine-in experience.

If you’re after a quality sandwich, coffee, or quick eat in a beautiful spot, be sure to head to Just Down the Road.

Find Just Down the Road at 127 Greenhill Road, Unley Monday through Friday.
