Since 2018, TreeClimb has been a bucket list item for thrill-seekers, nature enthusiasts and curious adventurers. The inner-city aerial adventure park promises to keep on giving this winter, set to open throughout the July school holidays – rain, hail, or shine.
With 70 obstacles spanning across eight different routes, there is something that caters for all levels of confidence and skill.
TreeClimb boasts three children’s courses – perfect for the upcoming school holidays. The courses have 21 tree-top activities, allowing climbers to progressively complete the Yellow course, then Blue and challenge themselves on the Orange course.

While parents can’t climb on the kid’s courses, TreeClimb recommends that parents follow along the base of the trees to provide support from the ground.
The TreeClimb trees and courses are checked regularly by the crew to ensure the safest experience possible, for climbers and for crew members.
Sessions go for 80 minutes and include a safety briefing, harnessing and practice course. The minimum height for the kids courses is 100cm.
For the older age group, try your hand at TreeClimb’s Grand Course, which involves five progressively challenging obstacle courses, including zip-lines and a Tarzan swing!
Once you complete the practice course, climbers will be able to try out the green, blue and red courses, before progressing to the mothers of all courses – the black course.
Gloves are mandatory for all Grand Course climbers, so either bring your own or purchase at TreeClimb for $3. Minimum height is 135cm.
These July school holidays is the perfect time to get your climbing practice in, ahead of TreeClimb’s second venue opening later this year.
Plans to create a $1.4m Kuitpo Forest TreeClimb was announced mid last year, facilitated by the state’s Natured Based Tourism Co-investment Fund.
The second location – scheduled to open (approximately) in November – will feature a café, nature play area, zip line course, children’s rope course, and an aerial nets course. Stay tuned for updates!
TreeClimb will be busy this school holidays season, so book ahead to avoid missing out.
