Kingpin Norwood relaunches with $2 million refurbishment

The luxe new fit out includes new lanes, totaling to 16, a new café, laser arena, prize shop, and arcade games.

Bowling is more often associated with colourful Velcro shoes than it is with fashion. However, with the reopening of this Norwood alley, you can bowl in style.

Kingpin Norwood has now relaunched following a massive $2 million refurbishment.

The luxe new fit out not only includes new lanes, totaling to 16, but it also has new spaces. There will be a private function space called Room 300 which can fit up to 200 guests, a new café, a refreshed laser arena with next-gen equipment, and twice as many arcade games as there were before. There’s also a new open prize shop where players can trade in their hard-earned tickets for an awesome selection of prizes.

The space is also fully licenced, so guests can mosey over to the cocktail bar between strikes (or gutter balls, if you’re like me).

The venue is hosted an official launch party to celebrate the opening on Saturday, 22 May. Premier Steven Marshall attended, rolling a ball down Room 300’s new lanes.

There is something here for everyone of different abilities and skills to play and enjoy in the day. If you’re into bowling or just want to see a new venue, be sure to attend Kingpin Norwood. or check the space out later.

Where: Kingpin Norwood, 11 Osmond Terrace, Norwood SA 5067
