Kitchen Farm Pantry to celebrate first birthday with family friendly fun

Kitchen Farm Pantry’s 1st birthday event will feature live music and kid’s activities such as face painting, marshmallow roasting, and gardening.

Kitchen Farm Pantry, a café and produce store located in a restored garage and barn in the Adelaide Hills is celebrating its first birthday.

On Saturday, 8 October, the wider community is invited to join a family-friendly afternoon celebration with live music in the Barn, kid’s activities including face painting, colouring in, marshmallow roasting, and gardening activities, and an open fire pit to keep guests toasty warm in the beautiful Adelaide Hills environment.

Kicking off from midday, guests can enjoy the usual Pantry menu items along with a selection of local beer and wine, and weekend specials including cheese platters, sweet potato fries, and vanilla party cones for the kids.

Local acoustic guitarist and vocalist, Taylor Pfeiffer, who has gained international attention from American hip/hop artist Post Malone, Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan, and Béla Fleck will set a relaxing ambiance in The Barn performing on vocals, acoustic guitar and banjo.

Kitchen Farm Pantry Founder, Olivia Burke, is looking forward to holding this celebration, “We are so excited to celebrate our first birthday, and we couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with our beautiful customers. It’s been a privilege to offer a delicious range of fresh and local produce, including brunch, coffee and cakes, and be part of the Adelaide Hills and Newenham community.”

Over the past 12 months, Kitchen Farm Pantry has become a much-loved spot for families and friends offering high-quality local produce and often freshly cut flowers.

Located within the award-winning Newenham Estate, the space is surrounded with stunning views of Newenham’s greenery and trees. Kitchen Farm Pantry is the perfect spot for kids or furry friends to run around while parents enjoy a coffee.

The space is warm and inviting with fires crackling inside and outside during the winter, and the ideal spot to soak up the sun during summer, with music playing and beautifully scenic views.

“Grab your closest family & friends and make an afternoon out of it!” Olivia concluded.
