A new offering in Adelaide’s ever thriving Korean Fried Chicken scene is opening on the Parade soon.

Chicken and Burgers, or CNB, comes from the Plus 82 Pocha crew, Steven Lee, Hyunwoo Kang, Kelsey O’Reily, Woojong Hwang.

The new project plans to be an elevated KFC, with the menu giving a lot of attention to Chicken Burgers.

Steven says their new venture is “… really fun and funky, Like KFC but the Korean style fried chicken.”

The new place has been in the making now for some time, with COVID-19 putting a little bit of a delay on the project.

The owners knew they wanted to set up on the Parade, and luckily the landlord of their venue was happy to hold for a while in this very uncertain time for restaurateurs.

Korean fried chicken won’t be the only thing on the menu though, with a selection of tap beers and a very intriguing Korean style corndog, which Steven is tipping to be very popular as it is not commonly found in Adelaide eateries.

Korean Fried Chicken has been all the rage in Adelaide over the last couple of years, with the juicy yet crunchy chicken proving to be a big hit.

CNB is planning to be a little more casual compared to its sister restaurant Plus 82 Pocha, which was one of the pioneers of Korean Fried Chicken in Adelaide.

CNB will be mostly a takeaway restaurant but there will be some seats available to enjoy the tasty offerings and an ice-cold tap beer.

The Plus 82 group has been busy with this latest joint set to be the fifth restaurant under their belt.

It’s obviously early days but keep an eye out as more CNB venues could pop up in the future.

All things going well CNB will be open in the next 3 weeks, at 177-193 Parade Central.
