Krispy Kreme South Australia (KKSA) is celebrating a decade of service in South Australia with a special event giving away thousands of free doughnuts today. The celebration is set to take place at the brand’s flagship store in West Croydon from 3pm to 5pm.
Since its establishment in South Australia in 2014, KKSA has been a significant player in the local market. It proudly hosts over 150 employees across 8 locations, including Marion, Tea Tree Plaza, Elizabeth, James Place, Port Wakefield Road, West Croydon, Adelaide Airport, and Mount Gambier. The company also serves as the exclusive supplier to more than 160 OTR convenience retail sites across the state.
Today’s celebration not only marks ten years of operation in South Australia but also celebrates Krispy Kreme’s vibrant collaboration with various local and international brands. These partnerships have included work with Cadbury, Farmers Union iced coffee, and the SA brand Fruchoc, amongst others. The collaborations merge popular flavours with Krispy Kreme’s unique offerings, creating specialty products for the local market.
Carly Higgerson, Head of Krispy Kreme & Manufacturing for SA/NT, commented on the brand’s growth and local impact. “I was there as a guest when South Australia welcomed Krispy Kreme with open arms, and it is a pleasure to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this brand,” said Higgerson. “Being part of significant collaborations with SA businesses and communities while championing this international brand, has been an absolute highlight of my career.”
Over the years, KKSA has not only focused on business expansion but also on community engagement. The company has proudly donated more than 1 million doughnuts to local charities, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the community.
