A White Party with free entry will take over Topham Mall this Saturday, 25th June for popular microbrewery Lady Burra’s seventh birthday. The first microbrewery in inner-city Adelaide is celebrating big with permission from City of Adelaide to take over the public walkway from Currie Street to their premises.

Steven Kidd, Lady Burra Owner, says the party will be red-hot with live music across the night and a hostess making sure things run just right.

“This is going to be the hottest street party in Adelaide this winter,” says Steven. “We have a bumper line up to get people dancing, and everyone’s going to look amazing in white.”

“We’re grateful to all our supporters across the last seven years and we want to thank them all by putting on a great night of entertainment, as well as providing amazing food and drink offerings from our Portuguese influenced menu.”

Lady Burra’s White Party will start with guitarist and vocalist Rodrigo Soafer, followed by Brazil Nuts Orchestra in the afternoon session playing old-school hits, then a DJ will keep the beats going into the night, accompanied by Emile Ryjoch on the sax.

Drag queen, Izzy Goode, will be the hostess with the mostess across the festivities, while a performance from Kraken Fire Art will warm guests right up.

Steven says the eclectic line-up brings something for everyone, whether people are looking for a chilled afternoon session or something a bit bigger.

“We hope people come early and get the most out of all our performers, grabbing a bite to eat from our new menu and then hitting the dancefloor,” says Steven. “There will be drinks specials all night so we have no doubt this will be a big night for those who attend.”

The first 100 guests on the day from 3pm will receive a free Lady Burra mug and a beer on the house. More than 10 giveaways will be given across the night, including a $50 Lady Burra voucher for someone dressed in white.

Steven says those who join the party in theme should aim to “shine bright like a diamond”. The outdoor setup includes a bar and designated dancefloor, as well as firepits to help keep revellers warm. A new Lady Burra menu will also be launched in line with the White Party.
