August 2022

Lambrook Wines wine warehouse opens in Norwood with a month full of fun to celebrate!

The large space in Norwood will be home to private functions, and wine activations and will host a number of August activities.

Lambrook Wines has supersized its plans to bring its wine to the people in the suburbs.

Landing on a warehouse in Norwood, the large industrial space will be home to private functions, wine activations and is perfect for the list of August activities gracing the burbs with their presence.

The space is fitted out with rows of high tables, grey shellback sofas and an over- sized pink ottoman, which is all amazing, but pales in comparison to THAT mural.

You may have already seen it on socials, the young woman, painted in pink, purples and blues with sparkles and flowers in her hair dark beautiful curly hair is the type of artwork you cannot forget.

Painted by local Adelaide Street Artist Jack Fran, it gives the venue the wow factor a space so large needs.

You can get a pic with the affectionately named ‘Stellar’ while you sip on a special edition of the wine Stellar Syrah, which Lambrook has released in the last few months.

Just like its name sake, the wine is elegant, cool and very easy to drink- perfect to pair with a smorgasbord of winter food.

Lambrook Wines began their labour of love in 2008, taking over two small parcels of fruit and making it into the wine label we know and love now. Owners Brooke and Adam said all all started with a half- crazy idea and now they’re living their dream.

To really kick the space into gear, the team are hosting a pop up (Ware) House party on August 6, with tickets still available to buy.

Stepney neighbours Fine & Fettle will keep your belly full for the night- think steamed prawn dumplings, mini shredded duck salads and steamed prawn dumplings in curry sauce.

Local musicians Brad Lee, Ben Vidic and Zyke and Damo keep the crowd entertained with live music from 6pm to 12am.

Every second Sunday of each month, the space is transformed for Stellar Sundays allowing you to soak up the last few precious hours of your weekend with great local food vendors, local musicians and of course Lambrook wines.

The next Stellar Sunday is happening on the 14th of August from 12 to 5pm so clear the diary because you don’t want to miss this one.

Fine & Fettle’s food will be on offer, while we’ll be treated to the dulcet tones of singer- songwriter Georgia Germein. You might recognise Georgia’s name from local South Australian band Germein who is known for performing with sisters Ella and Clara.

If you can’t clear the calendar for Stellar Sunday’s on the 14th, the last Thursday of each month the winery comes alive with a Flight Night, which allows Lambrook to collaborate with scrumptious food vendors and curate a wine flight to match.

The next will feature Brasco’s Pizzeria, giving us a night of gnocchi and pizza. Patrons will also be treated to a wine tasting by head Lambrook winemaker Adam Lampit, plus take home a RIEDEL wine glass valued at $200.
