For the next six weekends, Adelaide’s East End will be transformed into a winter haven during Winter in the East End.
Four laneways in the East End of the city will be activated with live music, pop-up bars and fire pits keep you toasty and warm.
Ebenezer Place will host a pop-up bar Hidden Brew @ Laneway Espresso House providing craft beer, mulled wine and espresso martinis alongside some nibbles.
Each weekend of Winter in the East End will see the bar showcase a different brewery and winery. Up first is Robe Town Brewery and Woolshed Brewing in the spotlight.
Of course, they’ll also have their locally roasted coffee served whichever way you fancy; espresso, batch brew, v60 pour-overs and cold drip.
Need a Winter Warmer? They’ll have house made Spiced Pumpkin Lattes, Gingerbread Lattes and Spiced Hot Chocolates topped with tasted marshmallows!
On the menu this weekend you’ll find oven roasted Parmesan Corn on the Cob, Cheesy Baked Meatballs and Brazilian Caldo Verde, which is a potato, chorizo and kale soup.
A selection of sharing plates with all your favourite cured meats, cheeses and olives can be shared.
Catch some live music at Vardon Avenue and Vaughan Place locations as they’re jam packed with South Australian musos. Kicking off the first weekend is Stefan Hauk and Jimmy Bay.
Vaughan Place will be running Jazz Night across the second weekend of August, and Donnarumma will be performing a solo set Friday 23 of August at Vaughan Place.
Friday 26 of July, the Vaughan Place location will be a part of the annual Scouted Festival.
Winter in the East End will run from the 12 July to 24 August on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30pm (excludes August 2 and 3).
