Laneway is Adelaide’s first permanent container bar located in the heart of Adelaide’s thriving CBD, with Season II a major success. Currently in its third year of operation, ‘Laneway The Third’ is the latest addition to make its mark in Adelaide’s expanding bar scene, with season three promising to be the biggest and best yet.
Having only been open for a month, the pop up bar is already making a statement having had its biggest night of trade on the opening weekend, with patrons treated to a revamped and exciting new look and feel.
Venue Manager Karah Castellan is thrilled with the response so far and believes the renovations and unique additions have taken the bar to the next level.
“There have been so many different inspirational ideas around ‘Laneway The Third,’ and I think we have done a great job at pulling them all together to form a venue that looks like the ultimate outdoor garden party that you can party in, but with a relaxed vibe,” says Karah Castellan.
‘Laneway The Third’ also boasts a new level overlooking Hindley Street, giving the multi-level construct extra space. It has also been fitted with a floating Canary Island Pine bench top in the upper container, which has a glistening epoxy glass finish; complimenting the Elm varnished timber floors.
New artistic murals and graffiti pieces by Adelaide’s up-and-coming artists have been incorporated into the venue to reflect the local feel and philosophy that Laneway is all about.
With the west end precinct being the home of the bar scene in Adelaide, Laneway is proving to be the destination of choice for after work drinks, Saturday night antics and lazy Sunday sessions.
