Last chance to buy popular SA book ‘Faces & Food of the Fleurieu’

Learn recipes and stories from 80 prominent chefs from the Fleurieu Peninsula.

It’s your last chance to buy “Faces & Food of the Fleurieu,” a beautiful collection of personal stories, recipes, and cooking tips from 80 renown chefs in the Fleurieu Peninsula.

After two print runs since its original publication in 2018, printing of the colourful hardcover book is coming to an end. As of now, just 500 copies remain.

Spanning more than 200 pages, the collection profiles distinguished food producers, restaurants, and chefs between Port Noarlunga and Cape Jervis alongside breathtaking photos of the region.

Produced, printed, and profiling South Australia and its residents, “Faces & Food of the Fleurieu” is a great purchase to support local eateries, entrepreneurs, and tourism, all while planning a mouth-watering restaurant crawl in the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Features include Harry’s Deli, The Green Room, and Port Willunga Fine Foods, with recipes ranging from stuffed eggplant to raw lime pie.

Well-known South Australian cook, food author, and restaurateur Maggie Beer raves about the book and its author, Soul Publishing founder Rojina McDonald.

“I love this thoughtful, researched and beautifully presented collection of people, produce, stories and recipes showcasing everything iconic and authentic about the Fleurieu region,” Beer says.

“Every region needs a champion, and Rojina has certainly captured this for our beautiful Fleurieu.”

“Faces & Food of the Fleurieu” is published by Soul Publishing, an Adelaide-based publishing house that seeks to showcase the best food, wine, and personalities of South Australia.

After this last round of publication, its much anticipated follow up, “Wine, Beer & Spirits of the Fleurieu” will be released in the coming months.
