Donuts and whiskey sounds like the perfect cold weather combo!
The team at NOLA has partnered up with Cakeboy Donuts and Balvenie whiskey to bring you the ultimate masterclass filled with sweet treats and booze.
The event is taking place this Saturday, May 8, and it’s selling out quickly with only seven tickets remaining.
Balvenie Brand Ambassador Ross Blainey will walk you through a special selection of the Balvenie single malt scotch paired with specially made donuts from both NOLA and partner Cakeboy donuts. From the classic Balvenie DoubleWood and NOLA’s signature Beignet to a specially created cocktail matched with a one-off Cakeboy donut, this is a whiskey and food event like no other!
In terms of liquor, guests will taste the Balvenie 12 DoubleWood and Beignet, 12 Sweet Toast of American oak and a cocktail sample, 14 Caribbean Cask, and PortWood. There will also be a a Cakeboy donut, a Caribbean-flavoured donut, and a “luxury” donut – whatever that means! Guests will get a takeaway inscribed lapel pin as well to commemorate their time at the masterclass.
The New Orleans bar promises a fun day.
“Join us for stories, whisky, cocktails and donuts,” they say.
Each attendee will receive a taste of:
· The Balvenie 12 DoubleWood and Beignet
· The Balvenie 12 Sweet Toast of American oak, a sample of the cocktail and Cakeboy donut
· The Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask and Caribbean inspired donut
· The Balvenie 21 PortWood and an extra luxury donut to match
· A takeaway “Whisky and Donuts” gold lapel pin.
