Latinofest Fundraiser Calls For Event Volunteers

Heal ChileLatino dance and events specialist company, La Bomba Productions, are assisting the ‘Adelaide Helps Chile Committee’ in organising a major fundraising event for the victims of the Chilean earthquake.

La Bomba are interested in hearing from interested volunteers who can assist our team to develop and produce this event and gain practical work experience in event coordination.

You will be assisting our team of volunteers who have worked on major events in Adelaide e.g: the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Tropicana Festival, Heaven on Earth, WOMADelaide, and are employed by businesses such as: KWP, Imagination, Bicycle SA, Adelaide Showgrounds, Come Out Festival and more.

Please register your interest by sending a brief email with your position preference and available hours per week to [email protected] by Friday 7th May, 5pm. Volunteer positions will run from Monday 10th May – 21st June 2010.

2) Media liaison and Publicity Assistants

3) Production/ AV Assistant

4) Food Stall Coordinator

5) Volunteer Coordinator

6) Vendor/Exhibitors Coordinator

7) Logistics and Operations Assistant

La Bomba Productions will provide all volunteers with an invaluable work reference and certificate for all their hard work.

Details of the event:

LATINOFest, a family friendly festival, that will promote all things Latino and Hispanic from Latin dance, music, food, kids zone, fashion parades, folk acts, reggaeton DJ’s, salsa singers, percussion and zumba workshops, Brazilian show girls, Tropical vibe… Making June HOT!

Date: Saturday June 19

Time: 12noon to 10pm

Venue: Jubilee Pavilion, Wayville Showgrounds

Aid: 100% proceeds will be donated to the Chilean earthquake victims to help re-build homes, schools and hospitals after the earthquake destroyed entire townships in the South of Chile. Our committee has already forwarded $250,000 to the Chilean consulate in Victoria to build a girls school in Concepcion, Chile (Thanks to the generous support of the S.A state government)
