Launch Night of The Haus Studio Apartments

On Tuesday December 4th, the new Haus Studio Apartments were launched in Hahndorf to a VIP crowd of media, local business owners and Adelaide identities.

The Haus Studio Apartments are brand new, self-contained accommodation in the heart of Hahndorf. Luxurious, spacious and contemporary, these one and two bedroom apartments include landscaped private courtyard, functional kitchen/dining area and a lavish bathroom with double shower. For overnight or extended stays, these premium apartments set a new standard for business or leisure accommodation in the Hills.

To help celebrate the occasion, guests were treated to a selection of the best local cider & wines, with Hills Cider, Bird in Hand and Mike Press Wines being served. Appropriately, sister business, The Haus Cafe+Bar+Kitchen delivered a steady stream of delicious nibbles from their menu including rustic pizzas, grazing plates and their Haus made dips platter. Luckily for anyone staying at the Apartments, The Haus Cafe+Bar+Kitchen is open seven days for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and located next door.

Over the course of the evening, guests were invited to explore the apartments, and were surprised with novelty additions to some of the rooms… In one apartment, a half dressed man (who was luckily an actor) was enjoying singing in the shower and in the apartment above, a female actor was discovered tucked up in bed, surrounded by chocolates, strawberries and champagne reading the perfectly suited Fifty Shades of Grey.

Guests were also able to enjoy the beautiful gardens of the Apartments, which feature a historical pear tree which was abound with fresh pears, and beautiful metal art work created by Anna Small and Warren Pickering of A Small Art Factory. The entertainment for the night was a gypsy jazz band, Various Nefarious, who kept things lively while guests mingled around the quirky crates and wine barrels stamped with the Hills Cider logo.

The evening ended with speeches which touched on the history of Hahndorf, the symbolism and importance of the pear tree, the appropriate thank yous, and of course the cutting of the golden ribbon.

Rates for the Apartments range from $180pn – $255pn.
