Longview Vineyard celebrates Winter with launch of new seasonal day spa treatments and stays

Longview Vineyard is offering a unique opportunity to indulge in the ultimate winter weekend away with a seasonal spa package to go with their outstanding dining and accomodation experiences.

South Australia’s first vineyard day spa opened in 2022, as award-winning and family owned and operated Longview Vineyard continued to lead the way in the State’s luxury space.

The addition of the day spa offers a unique opportunity for people to indulge in the ultimate winter weekend away, with one space to eat, drink, stay and relax and rejuvenate among the rolling hills.

“We felt like the spa really rounded out our offering. We have fantastic food, wine and accommodation and thought a wellness arm would round it out,” Longview’s Kayla Lehmann says.

To perfect the combined offering, Longview is now launching a seasonal Winter spa treatment from now until the 31st of August called Winter Ritual to fully immerse people’s mind and body in luxury.

“We thought we would put together seasonal packages which are tailored to the skin and your mood as the seasons change. In Winter some people can find themselves feeling tired or flat and this package is designed to be warming and wholesome,” Kayla says.

The team at Longview have crafted an exceptional offering, including dry back body brush exfoliation, peppermint and rose warming balm is applied to the back neck and shoulders offering a chance to melt away tension with a warm basalt stone massage and a rose quartz guasha facial.

The treatment encapsulates different elements, leaving guests feeling nourished and relaxed. The Syrah Solstice (combining the Latin words sol for “Sun” and sistere for “To Stand Still) presents guests an escape for Winter.

“After the treatment, guests can enjoy a nice glass of Wagtail Sparkling (or red wine) and Adixons dark chocolate on the balcony overlooking the vineyard as the perfect way to finish up,” Kayla says.

“Guests can also wander over to the cellar door which is open from Wednesday to Sunday and enjoy home-style Italian food which is warming for the Winter months.”

Make a whole weekend out of it and stay at their breathtaking new accommodation offering, The Lodge, which is a 4-and-a-half-star accommodation with comfortable modern rooms, friendly service, great wines and stunning views.

The destination’s broader accommodation offering is comprised of 12 king suites, a lovingly restored homestead accommodating up to 12 guests, plus the brand new Lodge, sleeping up to 8 guests. It takes the total accommodation offering to 44 on the property – the most onsite accommodation of any Adelaide Hills vineyard.

“This is the perfect chance to have a cosy weekend tree change,” Kayla says.
