Known for their organic and biodynamically farmed wines, Gemtree invites you to an exclusive dining experience where you will not only taste their first-class products but learn all about what biodynamic farming is, its benefits and how exactly they use the technique to produce their wine.
The Wine and Wander tour is exactly as it sounds. Greeted by your own personal tour guide, you’ll begin the day with a private tasting and education session before wandering through Gemtree’s Eco Trail (glass of bubbles in hand, of course) and taking in the pure beauty that is the South Australian bushland. You’ll also get the chance to show off your green thumb by pruning some of the vines as you check the alcohol content and readiness of the fruit.
Another tasting flight will follow and you’ll then be whisked away to a magical lunch setting, seated among the native Australian surroundings for an unforgettable 5-course dining experience.
The 5-course degustation will be made with love by the award-winning chefs from nearby crowd favourite, The Salopian Inn, so you can expect fresh, local and seasonal food, paired with wines to match.
Sustainability is at the forefront of everything Gemtree stand for and was their main motivation behind creating these interactive tours. Marketing Co-Ordinator Kelly Martin said “We have a strong focus on sustainability and through these tours, we hope to educate and inspire our guests.”

The Wine and Wander tours run twice daily at 10:30am and 1:30pm. (Weekend slots tend to book out so get in quick to secure your preferred date!)
