Ah, the macaron. Delicate. Airy. Elegant. Sweet. Mouthwatering. The height of French baking, the apple of our eyes. There is just something about them — a certain je ne se quoi, if you will.
Well, with this baking class, the macaron is about to become a lot less enigmatic as you get intimate with the whole baking process. It’s a chance to learn the methods, as well as the tips and tricks to achieve stress free, flawless macarons from an industry professional.
Keva, of Sucre Patisserie, will demonstrate from start to finish how to make a French macaron shell. And since we learn best from doing, you’ll also have the opportunity to join in at certain points of the class.
There is also a maximum of four attendees per class, so there is plenty of opportunity for one on one teaching!
During this 2.5 to 3 hour class, you’ll learn how to:
• Make macaron shells
• Fill shells with ganache & a buttercream
• Trouble shoot
• Use your home oven to make beautiful macarons
At the end of the class, you’ll head home laden with the macaron recipe (fillings included) and a take home pack of macarons, made during the class!
