Let the party be-gin at Glen Ewin’s Gin Fest this June long weekend

World Gin Day is on June 10th, and the team at Glen Ewin are throwing a huge party to celebrate.

It’s the day that’s marked on gin lovers’ calendars. The day we’ve been waiting for. The day we will celebrate with… well… a gin and tonic.

World Gin Day is on June 10th, and the team at Glen Ewin are throwing a huge party to celebrate.

The stunning, rustic 180-year-old Pulpshed building will have an amazing atmosphere, as many local distilleries offer tastings and drinks prepared directly by distillers.

Guests get a glass on arrival, so then you can go around and sample some of SA’s best gins, including those from Pot & Still, Dapper Chap Distillery, Heaps Good Gin, Little Bonsai Gin, and Needle & Pin Spirits.

And if you find one that you just can’t part with, you’ll be able to swing by the bottle shop and take a bottle home.

There will be some mouthwatering food available too, with Hen’s Catering serving up paella and Two Fat Bloke’s making wood-oven pizzas for the perfect, wintery gin pairing.

The Glen Ewin chef will be also serving Fig Gin Crepes during the event as part of the food offering.

There will also be a pumping dance floor, so you can dance to the epic tunes by Entertainment Adelaide.

But that’s not all. You can level up your gin celebrations, with a 3-hour canapé and drinks package in the exclusive VIP Warehouse. It’s here where you get live music, and a private bar and lounge area to boot.

And to really mark the day, Pot & Still will be hosting a make-your-own gin experience, where you get an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. You’ll be able to take home your own bottle of gin! But there are only 12 spots available for this highly exclusive event.

Worried about driving? Don’t be. Glen Ewin have got you covered.

The Gin Bus, brought to you by the legends at Des’s Minibus, will have return trips from either the City or Modbury. The city bus will have you leaving the Convention Centre at 10:15am, and have you leaving at 6:15pm; and the Modbury bus will have you leaving the Karadinga Sports Centre at 10:50am.

So, whether you’re a gin amateur or fanatic, there’s plenty of opportunities to celebrate World Gin Day at Glen Ewin.
