After opening a pop-up Norwood location in September, Let Them Eat is opening a store on James Place.
Co-owner Danielle Frankish says the James Place location is an effort to maintain Let Them Eat’s CBD presence, now its Central Market destination has closed after seven years of service.
“Quick, healthy lunches is more of the focus [at James Place],” says Danielle.
“Let Them Eat has a real signature healthy, whole foods, vegetarians and vegan, everyday eating brand and that’s what we like about being in the city.
“We will work really hard to get it out to those office and retail workers as quickly as we can.”
Let Them Eat was established in 2008 by chef Tanya Agius to fill a noticeable gap in the market for vegan and vegetarian fare.
Current stores are located at Burnside, Marion, Norwood, and James Place.
Let Them Eat’s James Place store can be found at 20 James Place.
