Levant Eatery Gives Back To Community With Foodbank SA

Levant Eatery is providing free meals to those who are doing it tough during the COVID-19 crisis.

Another local eatery is giving back to those in the community who are doing it tough during these uncertain times.

SA Mediterranean cafe, Levant Eatery is giving back to the community by providing free meals to those who are doing it tough during the COVID-19 crisis.

Partnering up with the not-for-profit initiative, Foodbank SA, Levant will be donating a meal to the organisation for every meal that is sold at their venue.

Foodbank SA will then be distributing the meals to local charities who are supplying those in need during this time including the elderly, vulnerable and those affected by domestic violence.

“We are so grateful that our businesses continue to survive and we couldn’t have done this without the support of the community, so we wanted to give back,” says Zainab Elkwady, manager at Levant Eatery.

“With the current situation, it’s all about strengthening the community and supporting one another.”

Specialising in Mediterranean street food, Levant is the Adelaide CBD’s one-stop-shop for specialty bread pockets and hearty salads filled with all your favourite Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours.

You can support Levant Eatery in their initiative by ordering online via their website or by picking up some Mediterannean goodness from their Hindley street or Pirie street locations.
