Level One at Electra House on King William are currently in an exciting transition phase as they bid an unexpected farewell to Executive Chef Satoshi Kikuchi due to family reasons. Set to step into his role is Melbourne Chef Jamie Kang.
Not resting on the acclaim of South Australia’s Best New Restaurant (City) in the Restaurant and Catering Awards, Level One are using this shift in personnel as a springboard to deviate from the current ‘fine dining’ options in order to create a much more engaging casual dining experience.
After enlisting the services of Australia’s most recognised chef recruitment agency and advertising nationally, they were extremely fortunate to recruit Jamie from the Urban Purveyor Group in Melbourne for the role of Executive Chef. The unexpected departure of Chef Sato and, delayed arrival of Chef Jamie has unfortunately made bookings temporarily unavailable for a short period. When they re-open however, get ready for some fireworks.
Prior to Chef Sato’s departure, Level One had quietly been developing a menu in-line with the current movements in the Eastern states. The Level One menu evolution will include some of our most popular dishes and showcase Jamie’s interpretation of Asian Fusion/Modern Cuisine.
